Objective

My goal is to secure a challenging career as a leading Civil/Environmental Engineer and acquire knowledge and experience especially in water resources management and conservation in support of GIS application. 

Highlights of Qualifications

·        Management of storm water systems, including planning for rural and urban watersheds, detention pond and storm sewer, hydrologic and hydraulic assessments of storm-water systems and computer modeling.

·        Designing and Construction of River Dykes , Analysis of River hydraulics and flood studies with bridge size culvert design, river and creek training works, flood protection and floodplain mapping

·        Management and Conservation of water reservoirs, dyke safety; hydrology, breach analysis, inundation mapping, hazard classification and safety review

·        Preparation of L-section, X-sections and earthwork estimates of roads, river dykes, main canals, distributaries minors after detailed surveying and investigation

·        Good knowledge of Engineering Materials/Construction specifications & designing aspects

·        Extensive experience for concrete mix design and on site implementation

·        Ability to conduct and evaluate EIA’s, EIS, IEE for the engineering projects particularly water resources.

·        Experience in installation, operation and maintenance of various types of shallow and deep,  fresh and saline ground water tube wells

·        Good working knowledge of computer hardware and software’s.

 

Summary of Accomplishments

·        Conducted environmental and hydraulic study of sea water intrusion around tidal link (Southern Province of Pakistan ), which is the outfall component of  National Surface Drain

·        Designed, Constructed and Operated about 1000 km long earthen storm water drainage network including associate hydraulic structure. The drainage system mainly comprises of outfall, main and branch drains under National Drainage Program of Government of Pakistan Funded by the World Bank

·        Designed and supervised construction of 20 km long River Indus flood protection dyke, including stone apron, and river diversions.

·        Successfully operated and maintained 100km long  gradient flow irrigation net work in southern province of Pakistan; Resolve the conflicts among the water users  under local irrigation acts; designed and constructed different types of outlet, conducted assessment survey works in order to compile water billing.

·        Assisted in designing and construction of LBOD (Left Bank Out Fall Drainage) project, which comprises saline ground water tube wells, tile drains, surface drains, and outfall structures.

·        Assisted in implementation of 6 maintenance contracts of O&M (operation and maintenance) of ground water tube well according to the contract document.

·        Developed Environmental GIS of LBOD project

·        Managed and Conserved   100 km2 fresh water reservoir Pakistan)
